I feel a little funny about the fact that Scott and I now have a blog. I was the type of person who always made fun of "blogging", and yet... here I sit... creating my own. *sigh*...
I suppose my main thought today is how hard that first time apart from your spouse after getting married can be! Scott (Nate) took off on a week long trip to the Windrivers on Thursday, leaving me behind to go to school. This is the longest he and I have been apart in over a year, and also the first time we've been apart for more than a day since we got married. The hardest part about it, is the fact that we can't even communicate! He won't have phone service all week. My sister Olivia tells me that it's good for us... but I'm having trouble seeing anything beneficial about the whole situation.
Anyway..... I miss him. BUT... He is sharing a tiny two man tent with my older brother Chris, and the very thought of that brings a huge smile to my face. :) I only hope they take lots of pictures.
